About Malav Naik
I’m Malav Naik, a data professional based in Dublin with about 10 years of experience across India and Ireland.
My story
I finished a Bachelor of Computer Applications in Gujarat in 2015 and started out in SEO keyword research. My first data role was at Bright Info Solutions in Ahmedabad: pulling data with SQL, cleaning it in Excel and Python, and building weekly reports.
From 2019 to 2024 I was a data analyst and ETL developer at S&P Global Market Intelligence. I built SSIS pipelines over multi-million-record financial datasets, designed data models for analytics, and helped migrate on-premise SQL Server to Azure SQL PaaS, which cut infrastructure costs by about 25%.
In 2024 I moved to Dublin for an MSc in Data Analytics at National College of Ireland, where I worked on knowledge graphs, prompt engineering and retrieval-augmented generation.
Today I work with Accenture for a global technology client on platform integrity, analysing complex escalations with AI-assisted tools.
